GIVEAWAYS

  • Vostok (Lock #2) by Steve Alten
  • Mother of Eden (Dark Eden #2) by Chris Beckett

I was lucky enough to win another 2 giveaways this month!

The first giveaway I won was Vostok by Steve Alten. I have only read one other book by Steve, but it was The Loch. Which happens to be the prequel to Vostok! I don’t remember too many specific details about what happened in The Loch (read it many years ago), but I do remember the general gist and the ending. Been wanting to read of more Steve’s work, so I lucked out with this one.

The second book I got was Mother of Eden by Chris Beckett. Lately I’d been reading some reviews about how awesome Dark Eden was. I already owned a copy of it, but hadn’t sat down to read it yet. So when I saw a giveaway for the sequel I had to enter it. Decide if I won, I would read through the series. Just started reading Dark Eden a couple days ago, and I’m really liking it so far!

Have you picked up any new books this month? Read either of the two I grabbed or hear anything about them?

Let me know what’s good!

  1. You and Tenacious Reader and your giveaway wins 🙂 I won Vostok in the same giveaway, but haven’t read The Loch, though I hear it’s works perfectly fine as a standalone. Funny thing is, my copy of Dark Eden was a giveaway win from a while ago too, and I only read it last month. Glad I did though, I loved it!
