The Friday Face-Off Winner is…

ODY-C: Volume 1; Cover art by Christian Ward

When I saw it was a psychedelic theme, only one thing immediately popped into my head: ODY-C.

For thos who don’t know anything about this, it a retelling of The Odyssey where all characters are females… and the art style has a heavy psychedelic theme, obviously XD

Anways, I decided to compare the Volume 1 and Volume 2 covers. (I could have don’t single issue variances, which usually have three, but I didn’t know which issue to use; and in my quick Google search, I couldn’t find variant for either of the volumes).

I really do like what’s going with the lips and star on Volume 2, and I can see a lot you picking that, but the Volume 1 “classic” type-dye, is somthing I simply cant pass up on. That actually the same design as the first issue, when I first saw that cover, was when I knew I had to find out what that comic was about 🙂

Which cover do you think is the best?

I really love these covers! And the book sounds really interesting – I’ve never heard of it before! I think I’d probably go for Volume 1 too 😀 Love those psychedelic tie-dye colours!!!

  2. Now that is really psychedelic! I like both covers, but probably the first one wins out by a sliver.

Oh wow! Well, if we were going to have a competition for the best book for this week’s challenge, this one would win! Fabulous choice – I love them both, but your favourite wins by a whisker:)
